This is my go to finish for most of my woodturned pieces and consistently brings a bright glossy finish to each item I make. It is this high gloss finish that customers see first.
 
Using high quantities of carnauba and microcrystalline waxes, this product is an extremely hard wearing finish, outlasting a beeswax based finish many times over.
By applying in light coats, your finish can be brought from a lustre, right the way up to a bright gloss with a warm and tactile ‘Pow’
 
Hampshire Sheen Gloss is a hand blended mix of Danish Oil, Carnauba Wax and Microcrystalline Wax which offers a high quality finish for wood.
The blend of both waxes and oil offers a hard wearing instant finish with a high gloss look and feel.
The High Gloss version adds extra lustre to your work. As of 2020 the High Gloss is also Food and Toy safe.
 
Woodturners Tip: After 24 hours the ultra smooth surface may not feel as silky smooth as it did after application. This is completely normal and part of the curing process. Simply use a dry Kleenex tissue and wipe the entire surface of your project and the initial smoothness will return. Do not use furniture polish as this could smear the finish. A polish cloth where the polish has completely dried and evapourated is acceptable. If in doubt, always try a small area first!
