Website Policies
Returns & Refunds Policies
In nearly 10 years of trading I have not had a single return of any of my creations and only 1 craft item returned as the colour wasn't a match for the task needed. I take very good pictures, give more detail in the item descriptions than most other businesses and I pack your products for shipping as good as I can in decent strength boxes.
Here are the terms for Returns & Refunds Policies for this website in case you need to know.
Long Distance Selling rules apply. You have the right to a 14 day cooling off period or change of mind after receipt of goods. If you change your mind or are not satisfied with the quality of the products or they are damaged in transit you should within 14 days:
1) Contact me first and let me know the reason for return; supply photos if something is wrong with your order and then Return the item to the me as soon as is agreed. Not as described (this won't happen) or damaged in Transit return shipping costs will be at my expense, you will pay for return shipping and I will refund your original payment for this once I receive the goods in good order. We will discuss return shipping costs for these two specific instances as and if they happen.
2) If you change your mind about an item or did not read my description properly then the return shipping will be paid by you the purchaser and this will not be reimbursed. I always oversupply details and advise buyers to contact me before purchasing with any product query. If you have any doubts or questions I advise you to contact me first before buying.
3) Act as soon as you can after receiving your package – a delay can indicate that you have accepted the goods as is.

4) Once I receive the returned goods in the same good order as I shipped I will process your original payment as refund and possibly your return shipping only if applicable. I will not refund before receiving the returned goods for obvious reasons. I would advise the use of tracked shipping to return goods to me, a lost return package will mean you will not be reimbursed.
5) Custom or made to order work is non refundable unless damaged in transit. Clear photographs of the shipping box damage and product damage will have to be supplied first before a decision will be made. The box should be photographed before being opened to show clear in-transit damage.

Please Consider Keeping Your Order
If you have any questions or doubts about any product, please use the Contact form and ask for more information or additional photographs.
Alternative Suggestion: If you order something and then change your mind; consider keeping the product and use for something else or sell it on to recoup your money. You still have the right of return as above. If you send back an item it is going to cost both you and me money. You will get your initial full payment back and the return postage will be at cost to you. I will also be out of pocket for the original shipping cost because I will still have to pay the Courier for delivering the original package. I'm a small business and extra expenses can be tough. In many cases the cost of shipping makes it more expensive to return the product. A simple post from one of your social media accounts might yield a local buyer or you can hold on to it for a day that you may actually need it.

If you live close to Tralee, I would advise you to make an appointment to see the goods in person rather than buying online. You can arrange an appointment by using the Contact Form.

Becoming a Site Member
Membership gives you more access to the website and allows you more facilities to make future orders easier and keep track of wish-lists and more. If you want to become a member of this website, you can sign up using the login link in the top of each page.
I recently tightened up the security of the login system because some new members were using their new profiles for purposes other than what is allowed.
I now approve all requests manually and I only accept people who have placed orders in the past or have attended Tuition or Experiences.
If you want to join but have not placed an order yet, you should at the very least; have first contacted me via the website to supply details of who you are, where you live and the reason for joining.
I will then review your case and decide.

You should be a resident of Ireland or if based internationally, have placed an order with me or attended one of my Woodturning Tuition sessions or Woodturning Experiences.
I take security very seriously! My website reputation has been damaged by fake past Members so you might forgive me for being so strict these days.

If you have signed up recently and have not heard from me, it probably means that I have not accepted your Membership based on the above paragraphs. You should follow up using the Contact page and explain as above.
