A Little More About Velvet Ribbon
Velvet ribbon has a different feel from most other craft ribbons. It has a soft surface, a deeper look, and a more luxurious finish, which makes it especially useful for gifts, weddings, Christmas projects, table decorations, hampers, floral work, and handmade crafts that need a richer presentation.
It can be used on its own for a simple elegant finish, or combined with other ribbon styles for extra texture and contrast. Satin Ribbon gives shine, organza ribbon adds lightness, and velvet ribbon brings softness and depth. That makes it a useful ribbon to keep on hand if you enjoy making gifts or decorations look more finished.
I know it might seem a bit unusual to buy velvet ribbon from a woodturner, but there is a story behind it. I started stocking ribbons and presentation supplies because I used them myself for my own handmade woodcraft. You can read more about that on my About page.
Most colours and styles shown as in stock are physically held here by me and ready for dispatch, apart from the occasional stocktaking error. If something is low or unavailable, I can often restock popular styles, depending on supplier availability.
