This 1/2 inch Spindle Gouge is an exceptional tool for detailed spindle work.  The GL7 is part of the Glenn Lucas Signature Tool range and it is modified from the standard Hamlet model to Glenn's specifications.  I use these gouges every day in my own work and they are extremely versatile on sidegrain and also for tidying endgrain.  Of all the gouges I have used, this tool is one of my favourites. Used correctly, this tool can hollow endgrain when making egg cups, boxes and more.
