Nyweb Pads are designed for use after sanding to refine the surface of your workpiece and prepare it for finishing. Slightly abrasive and long-lasting, these pads leave a silky-smooth surface without residue, helping your chosen wood finish shine.
 
● Sheet size: 225mm x 150mm (easy to trim to smaller sizes)
● Durable – won’t break up with use
● Powder-coated nylon controls the abrasion level
● White pads contain no abrasive – pure nylon for even application of stains/finishes
● Safe to use on the lathe (see safety note below)
 
How to use:
Start with the Green Nyweb Pad, then move through Red and Orange to gradually refine the wood surface before finishing. White pads are best used for applying stains and oils evenly.
 
Safety note:
If using Nyweb Pads on a spinning lathe, hold the pad loosely with your palm against the workpiece. Do not grip with your fingers. If the pad snags, this method prevents your hand from being pulled in.
 
Nyweb Pad Colours Explained:
● Green – Standard abrasion
● Red – Extra fine abrasion
● Orange – Ultra fine abrasion
● White – Non-abrasive, ideal for applying stains/finishes evenly
