Handmade Oak Soap Dish – Slim Design 🧼🌿
Each of these soap dishes is crafted from a solid piece of American Oak, sanded smooth and finished with Hampshire Sheen Danish Oil. Every piece is cut, shaped, sanded and finished here in Tralee, Co. Kerry. 🇮🇪
 
The drainage channels are designed to let water run off freely so your soap dries faster and lasts longer. 💧

They’re ideal for flat bars of soap, but if you’re using a round bar, simply press the wet soap gently into the wood — it will settle in place and grip the shape perfectly. 👍
 
The adhesive rubber feet (included in the price) lift the dish off your counter, helping it dry properly and preventing the wood from sitting in pooled water.
 
Because wood is a natural material, each dish has its own unique grain pattern and colour variations. No two are ever the same. 🌳
 
These Oak versions are the same design as my other soap dishes, just made slightly thinner at 19mm instead of 22mm. They were originally cut for a different product line, and I adapted the design to make them perfect as soap holders — a tricky but satisfying result. ✨
