Handmade Wooden Soap Dish – Ash 🌿

Each of these soap dishes is crafted from a solid piece of American ash, sanded smooth and finished with Hampshire Sheen Danish Oil. Every piece is cut, shaped, sanded and finished here in Tralee, Co. Kerry.

The drainage channels are designed to let water run off freely, helping your soap last longer and preventing it from turning mushy.

Designed primarily for flat bars of soap, but if you’re using a round bar, you can press the wet soap gently into the wood, it will grip the shape and stay in place.

Dimensions & Design

● Approx. 100mm x 75mm x 21mm (excluding rubber feet)
● Flat design (not a recessed dish)

This flat style allows water to drain freely and helps the soap dry more effectively between uses.

These ash versions were originally cut for another product line and adapted into soap dishes, giving them a fresh and practical purpose.

Practical Details

The adhesive rubber feet (included in the price) keep the dish lifted off the surface, helping it dry more effectively while preventing the wood from sitting in water.

The Wood 🌿

Made from American ash, fully crafted here in Ireland.

Because wood is a natural material, each dish has its own grain pattern and colour variation. No two pieces are ever the same.

You’ll receive a dish similar to the photos, each one unique in appearance.

Finish

Finished with Hampshire Sheen Food & Toy Safe Danish Oil.

Natural Wear

As a natural wooden product, the dish may darken or develop marks over time depending on the soap used. Some soaps contain oils, dyes or botanical ingredients that can stain wood.

This is a normal part of using a natural material. The dish is designed to function well, allowing soap to dry between uses, rather than to remain looking unused.
