Keep your favourite rings or hooped earrings safe in style with this handcrafted Irish Spalted Beech ring holder. Small enough for a bedside table or dressing table, yet distinctive enough to stand out as a beautiful little piece of woodcraft.
The Wood 🌿
This ring holder is made from Irish Spalted Beech sourced in the Listowel area of County Kerry.
The timber came from a tree whose branches had cracked during stormy weather. I was able to recover some pieces of this beautiful wood and turn them into small handcrafted items like this.
Spalted Beech is a striking wood with rich natural markings, dark spalting lines and plenty of character. Every piece reveals its own grain patterns, making each holder unique.
Every holder is turned freehand in my workshop in Tralee, Co. Kerry.
Natural Grain Finish
This piece is left in a natural grain finish, allowing the beautiful colour and character of the Irish Spalted Beech to speak for itself.
The wood is polished and protected to highlight the natural figure while keeping a smooth tactile feel.

Compact enough for everyday use but substantial enough to feel like a quality piece.

Traditional Ring Holder in Irish Hardwood
Use a dry polishing cloth or tissue, the same as you use for household dusting but make sure it is not wet from polish or it will affect the wax finish.
