Handcrafted Hanging Ornament x 1 made from Irish Beech hardwood.
 
This piece is a throwback to a design I used to make, The Artisitic Snowman.  The old design was wider and longer and never felt 100% aesthetically right.  This is the new and improved design and I feel I have now got exactly what I was trying to make before.
 
This single piece is made from Beech and comes from Beaufort Co. Kerry.  I cut this direct from the fallen tree, processed and dried the wood until ready for final finishing.
 
It Measures 97mm x 23mm & weighs 12 grams approx.  It features a snowman shape with top hat and a very pleasing artistic finial design shape underneath.  It has been finished with a sealer coat, a Hampshire Sheen Gloss Finishing Wax and buffed using Carnauba Wax.
 
This design is a little harder to do and more time consuming than my other natural grain ornaments.
 
Each piece is individually crafted from Irish hardwood.  The design of each of these is freehand to add to it's uniqueness but based on similar measurements to other ornaments.  I have added a different colour scheme to each of these creations.
 
This piece was sourced in Ireland and produced in my workshop in Tralee Co. Kerry

Important; Due to the wax coatings this piece should be stored safely in your home and not in an attic where the high temperatures will melt the wax finish.
