This size is ideal for making small pieces like Christmas Tree Decorations and Spinning Tops. Cut off what you need for each project plus a little waste. You could make 3 pieces approximately 4 inches long out of this blank.
One of the hardest things about starting Woodturning is sourcing appropriate wood to turn. For this reason I am supplying a small range of Hardwood for direct sale. Beech is a great wood to practice on to learn how to turn.
The endgrain was sealed with PVA Glue after being cut to eliminate cracking from any movement.
