Handmade Thumb Book Holder – Irish Beech 🌿
Enjoy comfortable one-handed reading with this handcrafted thumb book holder, designed to hold pages open with ease while you relax, sip a coffee, or read on the go.
 
Each piece is shaped and finished by hand in my workshop in Tralee, Co. Kerry, using Irish ash.

How It Works
Place the pointed edge into the fold of your book and rest your thumb in the centre hole. The holder keeps pages open securely, making reading with one hand simple and comfortable.
 
Dimensions & Fit
● Approx. 80mm x 34mm at widest points
● Thumb hole approx. 24mm
 
Designed to suit most thumb sizes.
 
👉 For best use:
align the back of your nail with the holder
only a small part of your thumb should pass through
 
Never force your thumb if the fit feels tight.
 
The Wood 🌿
Made from Irish Beech sourced in Co Galway.
Because wood is a natural material, each piece will vary slightly in grain and colour, making every holder unique.
 
Finish
Finished with Hampshire Sheen Food & Toy Safe Danish Oil and buffed with wax compounds for a smooth feel.
 
Natural Variation
Each piece is individually handmade. The item you receive will match the style and wood type shown, but grain patterns and colour will vary.
 
Packaging
Each thumb holder is supplied in a small presentation box, making it a simple and thoughtful gift.
