⚠️ A Note About These New Sessions
These shorter skills clinics are a new addition to my tuition programme and I’m continuing to refine them as they develop.
 
To get the most from the session, participants are encouraged to bring along any tools, pieces, or specific problems they would like help with. This might include tools that aren’t cutting properly, pieces with tear-out or sanding issues, or techniques that simply aren’t behaving the way you expected.
 
The more examples or questions you can bring along, the more practical and useful the session will be.

Many woodturners reach a stage where they can make basic pieces but still run into problems they can’t quite solve.
 
Tools don’t seem to cut the way they should, catches keep happening, sanding takes too long, or finishing results are inconsistent.
 
Often the issue isn’t a lack of effort — it’s simply not knowing which small adjustments make the biggest difference.
 
This session is designed to help identify those sticking points and provide practical advice to improve your confidence and results at the lathe.

We might look at tool presentation, sanding issues, sharpening problems, finishing questions, or general workshop techniques depending on what you’d like to focus on.
 
Because every woodturner develops different habits and challenges over time, this clinic allows us to focus directly on the areas where guidance will be most helpful.

These are fast-paced, focused classes designed to make the most of your time without wasting a minute. You’ll leave with solid, practical knowledge and clearer understanding of how to improve your results — and if you'd like to go deeper, additional sessions can easily be arranged.

Each session is guided by your own questions and projects, so the content will vary depending on what you bring along.
 
💳 Tuition Pricing
Weekday Only (cash / online):
• 2 hours – €100 / €110
 
Price is per person. A maximum of two participants may attend together so that both receive equal attention during the session (€200 for two people). If two people attend, a little extra time is added so both participants receive proper guidance.
