Handcrafted Irish Hardwood Bookmark – Made from Fallen Irish Ash
These handcrafted bookmarks, made from Irish Ash hardwood, add a touch of natural elegance to your reading experience. Each piece is made in my workshop in Tralee from locally sourced Irish Ash and finished to a silky smooth surface using Hampshire Sheen Food & Toy Safe Danish Oil, giving it a refined feel while protecting the wood.
Tassel Colours
Bookmarks are available with tassels in a range of colours including red, green, yellow, blue, silver, white, wine, pink and turquoise, making it easy to choose one that suits the reader or matches a gift.
Tassel colours may vary slightly depending on current stock, but they generally fall within colour groups such as primary colours or softer tones. If you have a preferred colour or colour group, feel free to mention it at checkout and I will do my best to accommodate where possible. Otherwise, I will select a tassel colour that complements the piece of wood.
The Bookmarks are slim, lightweight and durable, sit neatly between the pages without damaging your book and makes a thoughtful gift for readers, students, and book lovers.
Sustainably Crafted
These bookmarks are made from off-cuts of larger woodworking projects so that no good wood goes to waste. I believe in using every part of the tree where possible, turning small pieces of Ash into something simple, practical and beautiful. The natural grain of the wood means every bookmark has its own unique character.
