Handmade Beech Glasses Holder
A handmade wooden glasses holder, turned from Beech sourced from Beaufort, Co. Kerry.
This is a simple, practical piece for keeping your glasses somewhere safe when they are not being worn. Instead of leaving them loose on a desk, bedside locker, kitchen counter, or worktop, this holder gives them a dedicated place to rest.
 
Each holder is individually turned and finished in my workshop in Tralee, Co. Kerry. The shape is designed to hold a pair of glasses securely while still showing off the natural grain and colour of the wood.
 
Made from Beaufort Beech
This glasses holder was made from Beech sourced from Beaufort, Co. Kerry.
 
Beech has a warm, natural colour and a clean grain pattern that suits small handmade pieces very well. This holder has a simple rounded form with a central upstand, giving it a neat and useful shape without making it overly decorative.
 
As with all handmade wooden items, the grain, colour and small natural markings are part of the character of the piece.
