2 of these have cross grain which should make very interesting designs for pens.
 
Suitable for single body or split body pens.
 
3 pieces, bandsaw cut and cleaned up with a sanding machine.

Normally, pen blanks are around 20mm x 20mm but I have oversized them slightly to allow for the wood being cut individually from real Irish wood.  The cuts may not be perfectly straight and this gives you more room to adjust if necessary.
