Hamlet Parting Tools made from quality M2 High Speed Steel (HSS).
The parting tool designed to part work off the lathe once the piece is finished.
Parting tools can also be used to create lines in the work by way of decoration. This size is ideal for parting off box lids so the grain is not affected too much when trying to match up later.
 
Made from M2 Steel.
Used for parting off or cutting to depth
Handle - Beech.
Width - 1/8".
Length of Handle - 10".  Overall steel and handle length =16'' approx.
 
Please note that this tool has a factory edge and needs to be sharpened correctly before being used.
