Ideal tool for creating depth cuts in spindles. The diamond shape cuts down on friction. A relief cut is still advised to take the pressure off the tool edges when cutting deep. This tool is used at 90 degrees to the wood surface.

• The Diamond Parting Tool has a flattened diamond cross section which cuts down on side friction, this reduces heat build up against the sides of the tool.

• Made from M2 Steel.

• Handle - Beech.

• Width - 3/16" or roughly 5mm

• Length of Handle - 10", Overall steel and handle length = 17''

Please note that this tool has a factory edge and needs to be sharpened correctly before being used.
